How WCODX handles browser-based tools, website data, analytics and contact requests.

Last updated: October 8, 2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how WCODX handles information when you visit the website, use its tools or contact the project. It is written around the current WCODX implementation and may be updated as the site changes.

2. Browser-based tool processing

Many current WCODX tools are designed to process content directly in your browser where applicable. This includes supported PDF and image workflows, JSON formatting, Base64 operations, URL operations, QR code generation, UUID generation, percentage calculations and age calculations. The individual tool page remains the source of truth for its limits and processing behavior.

3. Files and user content

The current client-side file tools do not use a WCODX upload endpoint for the selected files. Files and values used by those tools remain in the active browser session unless you choose to download or otherwise share a result. This does not mean that normal website requests or future server-side features can never involve server processing; such behavior should be explained on the relevant page.

4. Contact information

Information you voluntarily submit through the contact form, such as your name, email address, subject and message, may be processed to review and respond to your request. Contact delivery is not currently configured, so the form does not promise email delivery.

5. Analytics

In production, WCODX is configured to load Google Analytics 4. The site analytics wrapper permits a limited set of tool events and filters their parameters; tool pages should not send file contents, dates, names or other user-entered content as event data.

6. Server logs

Normal hosting infrastructure may process technical information such as an IP address, browser or user-agent details, requested URL and timestamps for security, reliability and routine server operation.

7. Cookies and local storage

WCODX tool code does not use localStorage or cookies to store tool inputs or generated results. The contact form may use a temporary PHP session cookie for CSRF protection and basic submission throttling.

8. Third-party services

Production analytics uses Google Analytics 4. Some tool libraries are bundled with the site and loaded locally by the relevant tool. No additional third-party data-processing service is claimed here.

9. Data security

WCODX uses reasonable technical measures for a small web service, including HTTPS on the production canonical site and server security headers where supported. No online service can promise absolute security.

10. Data retention

Browser-only tool inputs are not retained by WCODX after the active page session. Technical server logs and any contact information are subject to the retention practices of the hosting and, if configured later, contact-delivery infrastructure.

11. Children’s privacy

WCODX is intended for general audiences and does not knowingly request personal information from children. If a child submits information, a parent or guardian may contact WCODX to request review.

12. Changes to this policy

This policy may be revised when the website, tools, analytics or contact workflow changes. The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
