Frequently Asked Questions

Can I resize an image by exact pixels?

Yes. Choose By pixels and enter the target width and height.

Can I resize by percentage?

Yes. Choose By percentage and use a preset or enter a value from 1% to 200%.

Can I target a file size?

Yes. Choose By file size. WCODX measures the actual encoded Blob and keeps the result at or below the target when practical.

Can I change the output format?

Yes. Keep the original format or explicitly choose JPG, PNG or WebP.

Will PNG transparency be preserved?

PNG and supported WebP output preserve transparency. Converting transparent content to JPG uses a white background because JPG has no alpha channel.

Are my images uploaded?

No. Processing takes place locally in your browser.
